Stuck at registry cleanup during DDU execution

I was directed to this forum by Nvidia. I recently installed and ran Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) on my computer to perform a clean driver installation. However, I encountered an issue where DDU gets stuck at the stage of cleaning up the registry. I patiently waited for a few minutes, but the progress seemed to halt, so I eventually had to terminate the task. I'm seeking guidance and any helpful suggestions from the community regarding this problem. Your assistance would be highly valued.
