How can GPU drivers be correctly uninstalled?

Hi there! I use NVIDIA, and my new AMD graphics card is coming home today. Since incomplete uninstallation of prior drivers has been reported to cause problems, I would want to know: How can I be positive that all traces of my prior NVIDIA drivers have been removed from the planet? I imagine a straightforward removal won't work.

Hello, you can uninstall NVIDIA drivers via Control Panel:
1. Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."
2. Expand the "Display adapters" category.
3. Right-click on your NVIDIA graphics card and select "Uninstall device."
4. In the uninstallation dialog, check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" and click "Uninstall."
