How can GPU drivers be correctly uninstalled?

Hi there! I use NVIDIA, and my new AMD graphics card is coming home today. Since incomplete uninstallation of prior drivers has been reported to cause problems, I would want to know: How can I be positive that all traces of my prior NVIDIA drivers have been removed from the planet? I imagine a straightforward removal won't work.

Hello, you can uninstall NVIDIA drivers via Control Panel:
1. Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."
2. Expand the "Display adapters" category.
3. Right-click on your NVIDIA graphics card and select "Uninstall device."
4. In the uninstallation dialog, check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" and click "Uninstall."

In Windows, click the Start button. Press Enter to display the Device Manager. Under Display Adapters, right-click the graphics card model and choose Properties in the context menu. On the Driver tab, click Uninstall, select the check box to eliminate the driver software, and click OK.
