VCRUNTIME140_1_CLR400.dll error

I'm trying to run DDU, but I'm getting a Bad Image error. I've tried downloading from a Guru3d and from here, I get the same error regardless.

Image

This is on a Windows 10 PC, running an old 4690k.

This happens when I run Display Driver Uninstaller.exe

How can I fix this?

I would do as the picture says, reinstall the VS c++ redistribuable.
your DLL is either too old or bad.
repairing .NETcould maybe help too.

I've already tried the Vc++ redist, but haven't looked at. NET yet. I'll try that next...

I've now reinstalled the x86 and x64 VS C++ 2015-2022 redistributable, repaired the .NET (by disabling it, re-enabling it so that Windows can redownload components, and then used the Microsoft .NET repair tool) and still get the error.

I've disabled Wifi and booted into Safe Mode, but that same DLL error appears.

Is it possible that I need to find that DLL and copy it into a folder for DDU to use?

Sadly I do not know what else to suggest to repair this. All I know is that it's not from our software directly as it depend on .NET
something on your system is broken about this .DLL and or the net installation.

You maybe have to think to do a system repair / reinstall. I wouldn't be surprised that you may have other .NETapplications affected by this.

you may want to contemplate executing a system repair or reinstall. This step is essential as it could potentially impact other .NET applications installed on your system that might also be experiencing similar issues.
